Allegra II luminaries – a happy blend of modern and traditional

With its Allegra II series, the SDL outdoor lighting manufacturer goes even further in the field of decorative lighting. Expressly designed to illuminate major roadways, streets of urban developments and commercial outdoor parking areas, this tear-drop type luminaire proves to be the ideal solution to counter light pollution in large agglomerations.

Thanks to its highly effective hydro-formed reflector, Allegra II offers an excellent photometric performance making maximum spacing between street lights possible. In addition, these decorative outdoor lights have an important advantage when it comes to urban outdoor lighting. Indeed, the models with flat glass lenses incorporate full cut-off, meaning no upward lighting. These luminaries of the Allegra series are certified by the Dark Sky Association (IDA).

Other unique features set apart the luminaries manufactured by SDL from other products on the market, in particular, the Sealshutter system, certified IP66, which guarantees water and dust-proofness as well as easy accessibility and without the need for tools for the internal components, which simplifies maintenance and relamping.

In addition to the traditional lamps of metal halide and of high-pressure sodium, SDL uses several types of high-performance energy efficient lamps, such as CosmoWhite, the QL induction lamp and the Elite.

The Allegra II series of lighting products is offered with a wide variety of decorative supports in modern or traditional styles. Several types of lenses, fitted with or without decorative cages, are offered as options.
