The colours illustrated in the present guide are as close as possible to real colours taking into account the limitations of a computer monitor. For exact rendition, contact the manufacturer in order to obtain a sample on metal.

Description
SDL offers a finish of superior quality which provides adequate resistance against weather hazards (salt spray and UV), corrosion and various chemical agents which might alter the aesthetical appearance of lighting fixtures and poles. The application process as well as the premium quality material used for this finish meets the most rigorous North American Standards providing a stable colour which resists to scratches and corrosion.

Preparation and Application
The surface preparation eliminates all exterior agents such as grease, oil, dirt, rust, corrosive agents, and others. This preparation performed by multi stage immersion precedes the application of the polyester powder finish applied by thermostatic process for a permanent and durable finish.

Textured Finish
Luminaires and poles feature different combination of moulded, extruded and fabricated parts. SDL strongly recommends the use of its textured finish in order to harmonize the rendition of these different surfaces.

Special Colours
Standard colours offered by SDL are identified in the present guide. However, SDL also offers a variety of special colours which are also illustrated in the guide. Consult the manufacturer to find out about the additional cost.

Custom Colours
For colours not illustrated in the present guide, or for colours to develop or match for a specific project, SDL reserves the right to use a baked liquid polyurethane finish. Consult the manufacturer prior to specify such colours.

Multiple Phase Projects
For projects in more than one phase and for which delivery will spread in time might feature minor variation in colour. These differences are the consequence of different manufacturing lots, or from normal wear in products previously delivered.
