City of Vancouver - 2010 Winter Olympic Games

SDL Lighting is very proud to present the most prestigious project in the history of our company. Developed in conjunction with the City of Vancouver in time for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games this unique concept utilizes LED Luminous Columns. There are two hundred and seventy seven 10 foot columns and twenty eight 30 foot columns on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver. The columns are mounted to poles with telescopics arms designed by SDL to ensure vertical visual consistency on the streetscape. These LED luminous columns were supplied with 3500 degree Kelvin LEDs but have the potential to be supplied with RGB colour changing LED assemblies and the matching controls. This product will be added to the SDL standard line and will be available with constant colour and RGB systems.
